Porteuf Range Yurt System
A series of four back country yurts are nestled in the Portneuf Mountains in Southeast Idaho. Adventurers can cross country ski or snowshoe into one of these yurts for a night in the mountains, or send several days playing in the snow and traveling between all the yurts. You must reserve the yurts in advance and pay a nominal fee.
What is a yurt? A yurt is a domed hut that is usually semi-portable and setup in the winter. These yurts have a skylight for viewing the stars, bunk beds, Coleman cooking stove, and a wood burning stove to keep it toasty warm. One of these yurts will comfortably fit 5 to 8 people.
Whether you have a family with kids, or a couple powder hounds looking for backcountry skiing/boarding, you will love spending time at one, or all, of the Portneuf Range Yurts. Visit the link below to get all the information you need to Just Add You.
